Donate by cheque
You can make a donation by cheque, made payable to TaxAid. If you are a taxpayer and would like to Gift Aid your donation, please let us know and we will send you a Gift Aid form. Please send cheques made payable to TaxAid to:
TaxAid 30 Monck St London SW1P 2AP
Payroll giving
Making a monthly donation through your salary is an extremely efficient way of giving. Donations are deducted before tax is calculated, so if you donate £5 per month you contribute only £4 (as a basic rate taxpayer) and the taxman makes up the difference.
Ask your payroll department at work if they operate a payroll giving scheme.
Gift Aid
If you use Gift Aid, your donation goes further. We get an extra 25p for every £1 you donate.
You can use Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer and are donating with your own money.
How to make a Gift Aid donation:
For donations by cheque you can download and print this form. Just sent it to us with your cheque. If you are unable to print this form, please contact us and we will send one out to you.
For online donations simply tick the box that says you’re happy to Gift Aid your donation.
Please make sure that you pay enough tax to cover your Gift Aid donation. For example, if you pay £500 in tax a year you can Gift Aid up to £2,000 of donations. Find out more about Gift Aid.
