Scottish Tax Clinic

These brilliant students are taking part in our Scottish tax Clinic.

The tax clinic has been set up with the University of Edinburgh Law School, with special thanks to Amy Lawton for enabling this partnership. The clinic is the first of its kind in Scotland.

We are so thankful to the students and our volunteers for taking part in this scheme. And, they are already taking on clients and helping people in their community.

The students are getting real-world experience whilst under the supervision of our professional tax advisors. This initiative allows the students to provide a vital service to their local community by providing pro bono tax support to people on lower incomes in need of tax help.

The clinic is running from 9 am – 4 pm on Fridays throughout the university term. And, the students are taking calls from our helpline and booking face-to-face appointments with clients.

Presently, we are recruiting volunteers in Scotland who are able to help the students on an ongoing basis. Contact alawton@ed.ac.uk if you are interested.
