PAYE code
If you have received a PAYE code that you do not understand, the quickest way to find out why the code has been issued and what it means for you is to call HMRC on 0300 200 3300. You may not have received the coding notice, but you may see a change of code on your payslip and a difference in the amount of tax deducted.
