The Bridge the Gap appeal

The two UK tax advice charities, Tax Help for Older People and TaxAid, have been providing free tax help and advice to vulnerable, low income taxpayers for over 20 years. At no time has the need for access to free and trusted tax advice by low income, vulnerable people been higher or the demand for it been greater. And this need and demand is going to continue to grow. So Tax Help for Older People and TaxAid have decided jointly to launch a new campaign together, Bridge the Gap, to enable us to serve even more people in crisis with their tax.

Giles Mooney Managing Director of the Professional Training Partnership interviews Valerie Boggs the Advice Director of Tax Help for Older People and TaxAid about the work of the two tax charities and the need for financial support from the profession in supporting the Bridge the Gap campaign for Tax TV

There is an urgent need to meet this increased demand for our expertise by the more disadvantaged and marginalised people in society.

By supporting and donating to our Bridge the Gap appeal you can help vulnerable people on the lowest incomes gain access to free, trusted and expert tax help and advice.
